Q: How much time do I need to invest?
The Everyday Disciple Framework and how we coach you is intentionally designed to be as easy as possible to get started. That’s because we teach you how discipleship fits into your already existing rhythms. LIVE coaching calls are twice per month ~75 minutes. And you’re not going to find any multi-hour lectures in your MAKERS training. Everything is short, to the point, and designed to help you be in action and get results as easily and clearly as possible. Our most successful participants spend an average of ~1-2 hours per week to get started. That being said, MAKERS is self-paced and the more time you're able to invest, the quicker you'll see the results.
Q: How fast will I see results?
You’ll get started in MAKERS with your Personal Roadmap that we’ll create with/for you. It will give you a “first 30 days”, “next 90 days”, “in the months ahead” breakdown and the exact steps to take and the training that goes with it. If you follow along with the steps in your Personal Roadmap, you’ll start new discipleship rhythms with family and friends that fit your existing rhythms and schedule in the first 3-4 weeks. You get to go completely at your own pace so you can take it slow or press hard on the gas pedal!
Q: Will this work in my context?
Everything we teach in MAKERS has been implemented in the real world with all types of leaders, denominations, and contexts. We have done everything you will learn ourselves and with others in large metropolitan areas, smaller cities, inner city, suburban, rural… It’s proven to work and reproduce time & time again because it’s a proven process and framework based on foundational principles that never change... NOT the latest church growth scheme.
Q: How will this affect my marriage and family?
Discipleship is meant to apply the good news of the Gospel to absolutely every area of our lives. Freedom! Everyday Disciple MAKERS is a very holistic experience that speaks to and includes marriage, parenting, friendships–all of your relationships–and helps you speak, live and enjoy an all-of-life Gospel experience. “As the marriage goes, so goes the family… as the family goes, so goes the Church.” That’s why MAKERS is with Tina and me coaching you together as a couple… in a group of couples. (BTW: We coach single folks too 🙂)
Q: What if I get “lost” or confused?
After a short interview on Zoom, we’ll create your Personal Roadmap. It will guide you step-by-step, guiding which lessons to watch, and which resources to use. The LIVE coaching calls with Tina and me take place at convenient times on the 2nd & 4th weeks of the month. The calls are a place to get all of your questions answered, gain clarity, and be encouraged. You’ll be in a Voxer group on your mobile phone with us and everyone who is in MAKERS, so you’ll have daily access to help when you need it. Additionally, whenever you feel like you need a little more personal help, you can schedule a Private Coaching Call with either of us to work on whatever you need help implementing or getting started with. We’re here for you!
